Help for Greyson The Great and His Amazing Family

Donation protected

Hi, you all may know me as Traci, but my favorite title is LaLa. I was given that sweet name by my Daughter-In-Love, Lindsey when she and Alex blessed me with my first grandchild Gwenevere! As if that wasn’t the best gift ever, they added a new bundle to love and adore when they had Greyson. Those two kiddos have brought so much love and light to our lives, and we couldn’t possibly love them any more!

So all of our lives were a little shaken to say the least when we learned on July 28th that our little Greyson was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. No one ever wants to receive that kind of news, but by God’s nudging and Lindsey’s intuition she took him into the doctor when she noticed unusual bruises. God has been so faithful every step of the way. Greyson’s leukemia has been caught early, and he’s been responding so well to treatments of chemo and steroids. We are believing in total and complete healing and have seen miracles already.

No one is ever prepared for these kind of life altering events, but I can honestly say Lindsey & Alex have been so strong and amazing as parents and just focused on the health and wellness of their little buddy and keeping life as close to normal for Gwen. I’m astonished by their faith, their strength and am beyond proud of the parents they are.

Both Lindsey and Alex have been blessed immensely to be employed by two amazing employers. They are being looked after and allowed to stay at home and love on that little sweetie as long as they need to until he is in remission. They also have amazing benefits through their jobs that will meet a lot of their financial needs during this time. We are so thankful for Hill Country Bible Church and for their compassion and care of this sweet family during this time.

We are hoping to hear the words remission within the next 10 days. Greyson goes in tomorrow for a surgery where they will do a lumbar puncture, chemo in his spine and extract bone marrow. They will declare him in remission if he has no leukemia in his bones. We are believing for another miracle with that test. However; even when we receive that good news he still will have to have two to three years of chemotherapy. Luckily Greyson is just 19 months old so by the time this is all over he will not remember much of it. We are believing that God is with us. God’s protection is with Greyson. Greyson will have a long healthy and happy life, and one day all of this will be a testimony for Greyson to share.

We have been so blessed by all the love and support from our family and friends. Your kindness to us all has filled our hearts, and the words of encouragement have been much needed on days that feel so exhausting. Your prayers have been felt. We’ve seen God so clearly move and know He never leaves us.

So many of you have reached out and asked if they had a Go Fund Me account. So I reached out to my kiddos to see if they’d mind me putting one together so that those who want to bless them can. So if you feel it in your heart to donate to this sweet family that has had their world turned upside down for the time being we are greatly appreciative of that. In the coming days keep them covered in your prayers and love. Keep believing with us that Greyson is going to get the news of remission and that one day their life will once again return to normal. Better than normal. Amazingly blessed.
