Help for Herbie G

For those who do know or who are just finding out Herbie was admitted into the hospital on March 11, 2024. At first the medical professionals thought it may just have been his stomach ulcers as he had the same type of symptoms (no appetite which led to rapid weight loss, severe body weakness) but this time he also started having swelling in his extremities. After completing many tests and multiple images he had to be transported to a larger hospital in Daytona beach Florida where on March 16th they realized he had cancer. The did two more MRIs, and a biopsy and on March 20th he was ultimately diagnosed with a high grade large Lymphoma. Throughout the many tests and biopsy the doctors found an extremely large mass in his abdomen. When they told us all what exactly was going on Herbie has chosen to stand up and fight this with chemotherapy treatments. As of today (March 27, 2024) he has officially received his first round. The time that he has been laid up this far, has understandably been extremely hard for him and anyone that knows him he’s not one to ever stay still. He told us that he is not looking for hand outs but we (his two god kids) only want the best for him as you all do too. So we’ve started this fundraiser to make sure he not only has the best care but that it won’t be as stressful when the medical bills start coming in. The plan for the very near future is for him to come down to south Florida (ASAP), to continue the chemo treatments and god willing kick this cancers booty so he can get back to his normal routine which we all know includes golf!
