Help for Herlein Family
It is with a very heavy heart that I update our donors with the news of Kira's passing this morning:
Today, 1/8/2020 at approximately 11:20 am Kira Isabell Herlein aka Kirabell went to be with the lord. She passed peacefully and painlessly surrounded by family and friends. Breath easy sweet angel.
This has now turned into a fund to help the family with funeral expenses. Please help in any way you can. :'(

Since May 2019 the Herlein Family has had to fight for their little girl, Kira. Kira was put on the transplant list for a double lung transplant due to Cystic Fibrosis.
During this time the family was often separated or traveling back and forth to different hospitals to be together. This means that costs have also racked up bleeding the family of funds they need to continue to make ends meet.
On January 7, 2020, Matt and Katie received news that no parent should ever have to get, their little girl was fighting potentially her final battle with her liver beginning to fail and since her lungs are not strong enough she doesn't qualify for a transplant.
From their facebook page "It is with heavy heart we make this post. Over the past 24 hours Kira has taken a turn for the worst. Her liver took a hit from something and is very unlikely to recover, unfortunately this means there is nothing medical that can be done. If anyone would like to come see Kira, you are welcome too, the next 48 hours would be best. Please let us know if you would like to come and please pray for our whole family in this extraordinary difficult time."
I am just a friend looking to help ease some burden off their shoulders. Cystic Fibrosis is a hard illness and oftentimes leaves you feeling isolated and extremely alone. I want to do what I can to help with the little I know how. If you can make a donation to help ease some of the financial stressors that have been placed on this amazing family please do and if not, please share! We don't know what this family will endure over the next week, month or year but lets try to help the little we can.
With love and hope,
Jeanne Howell
