Help For Highbridge Park Burned Victim
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news of the tragic passing of our beloved mother, Marcia Maria Recarey.
On August 14, 2024, our mother was found in Highbridge Park in Washington Heights, her body severely burned and unrecognizable. This horrific event has left our family utterly shattered. Marcia was a mother, a daughter, a sister, with a child-like soul who faced unimaginable challenges throughout her life. Despite everything she endured, she did her best to remain strong and was very giving to others, even when she had nothing. Sadly, her life was marked by suffering, and her death is a heartbreak we never imagined we would have to face. We were not given the chance to say goodbye to our mom and we will never get to see her one last time. The nature of her passing has left us in complete shock, and our grief is immeasurable.
As we try to make sense of this tragedy, we are left with the overwhelming task of arranging her services. We humbly ask for any help you can provide during this incredibly difficult time. Your donations will go directly towards giving our mother the farewell she deserves and easing the burden on our family as we navigate this unimaginable loss.
Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this heartbreaking time.
With gratitude and sorrow,
The Peralta & Recarey Family
