Help for Hospital Expenses and Family

My friend Anitha, 47 years old, a devoted mother and wife died November 1, 2020. She is survived by husband and two sons aged 18 and 11. Anitha was taken to the hospital when she complained of stomach pain on October 26th and was immediately admitted in ICU. She was put on ventilator support. Being a heart patient for 6 years really aggravated the situation, as the doctors tried lot of different treatment options to bring her vitals up. Anitha had multiple organ complications which further worsened the situation. Hospital expenses alone exceeded almost $25000 for those 7 days. Her Husband lost his job 4 months ago due to the Covid situation and they have used all their savings. Anitha was doing a home-based business to bring in small income to help the family’s financial condition. Her husband also has medical condition because of which he cannot work long hours.

Anitha was a strong lady who was the main pillar of support to her family. Losing Anitha is like losing a backbone and it has been devastating for the whole family. As many of you wanted to help the family in some form or other, we are setting up this site. These funds would be used wisely to get through the medical expense that has incurred due to Anitha’s hospitalization and the remainder will be saved for the kid’s education.
