Help for "il Vallo di Diano - Salerno, ITALY"

Italy has been hit very hard by the coronavirus. From North to South the virus has left its devastation with over 10,000 deaths in this past month alone. The economic consequences will be felt for many years to come as this virus has crippled an already fragile economy. The entire country has been shutdown leaving so many families wondering where their next meal will come from.

Southern Italy was already fighting it’s own war against poverty well before all this started. We are collecting funds for a small area in the Province of Salerno called “Vallo di Diano”. This beautiful but not wealthy area includes fifteen small towns ( Atena Lucana, Buonabitacolo, Casalbuono, Monte San Giacomo, Montesano sulla Marcellana, Padula, Pertosa, Polla, Sala Consilina, San Pietro al Tanagro, San Rufo, Sant'Arsenio, Sanza, Sassano and Teggiano ) most of these amazing gems are hidden in the beautiful mountains of the Parco del Cilento.



All the funds will be used exclusively for families in need that have been hit hard by this devastation and whose future looks very dim right now. Through a network of local small businesses these families will be able to shop for basic needs and provide for their children once again. Your funds will not only help these families in need but will also help the local economy.
