My husband James is gravely ill. Sadly I had no idea up until just recently that he was diagnosed with kidney disease. He didn't want me to know. Being the sweet man that he is, he did not want to burden me. He had been carrying this burden alone since at least last year.
A couple of weeks ago he started to get really sick. I didn't know what was happening. Meanwhile we started to get phone calls about medical appointments. I then discovered that he was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease back in April. James eventually admitted that he had been keeping it from me and asked to not be brought into the hospital. He wants to let it take its course at home, with me, in comfort. I am currently looking into hospice care for him.
We have not been able to work due to the pandemic and are struggling financially. Any amount of help would be greatly appreciated. James is too proud to ask for help. I just want to be able to take care of him. These funds will help pay for daily essentials such as food and personal care products as well as past due bills that are now adding up quickly. Thank you so much for whatever you can offer us.
