Help for Jamie (James Kevin) Driskell Funeral Fund

UPDATE:
On September 26, 2021, I received from Integrity Funeral Home the report on Jamie's cause of death.  It stated in part
"... significant conditions contributing to death...ARTHEROSCLEROTIC AND HYPERTENSIVE CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE"

Jamie had been taking high blood pressure medicine for some years, however the severity of his condition had not been known by anyone. Again, thank you all for your kindness and help through this.

Original Announcement:
Hi, my name is Mike and I am Jamie’s brother.  Many of you know Jamie because of his amazing guitar skills.
He could play like Peter Frampton. He also made guitars.  His passion was music and friends.  

Jamie went to Mitchell Elementary and  J. Frank Dobie High School in Southeast Houston and was still in touch
with many friends. 


Jamie never met anyone that he didn’t like.  If you knew Jamie, you knew him as one of the kindest, sweetest men
 that you had ever had the privilege of meeting.

On Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021, while on his way to work, he must have had some kind of attack. He was found in his car on War Memorial Highway.  An autopsy has been done and we are awaiting results but we think it may have
been a heart attack.  Jamie was 57 years old.

Jamie was struggling with work and his wife, Judy, is on Disability. We are only asking for enough money to cover a modest funeral and getting his car out of impoundment. We hope that you can see it in your hearts to help in any
way, no matter how small, just whatever you can do.
