Help for Jay and Orlando, in loving memory of Bec

My name is Ally and I along with Becs sister Jenny and our friends want to raise some funds to help support Becs loving husband Jay and their sweet little boy Orlando.

Our beautiful Rebecca ‘Bec’ Kovalik sadly passed away on Friday 9th of June 2023 just 8 days after her 34th birthday. Bec was having her third spinal surgery to repair nerve damage in her back, unfortunately due unforeseen complications she didn’t make it through the operation. Absolutely devastating all that knew and loved her and leaving her wonderful husband of almost 9 years and their beautiful 3 year old son Orlando.

Bec wanted nothing more than to be a mother and after years of hardship and struggles through IVF was blessed with the miracle that is Orlando.

Sadly this surgery was their last step before their fresh start and attempt for one more baby.

Bec was such a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and friend who cared so much for anyone in her life and would help others at the drop of a hat. She had a huge presence in the community between her work as a swim teacher, a childhood educator and through her and Jays multiple businesses.

As you can imagine poor Jay is absolutely devastated and we want to try and help as much as possible with some funds to help pay for our beautiful Bec to have the send off she deserves as well as any further costs for Jay such as mortgage, medical bills and everything else that comes with these horrible tragedies.
