Help for Jerry Wilson and his family

Everyone who knows Jerry loves Jerry. There is nothing unlovable about this kind, teddybear of a guy. Just hearing his name brings a smile to your face. Speaking of smiles, Jerry's comes straight from his heart and goes straight to yours!
Many of you know Jerry from living in Rancho Penasquitos and have probably benefited from his helping hand. Some of you know Jerry through his job with PUSD where he works as the Health Tech at Twin Peaks Middle School. He started there in 2001 and has seen multiple families/siblings go through Twin Peaks over the years. He loves his job and has always felt it is his second family.
Now, Jerry is in need of your prayers, good wishes and support. His journey through this battle with Covid-19 started after he and his wife Judy returned from seeing their son Jon and daughter-in-law Heather in Texas. While in Texas, Jon and Heather surprised them by telling them they are going to be grandparents! On 4th of July, he and his wife Judy both started feeling as if they had one of those annoying summer colds. By July 10th, he was admitted into the hospital and by July 15th, he was fully sedated and put on a ventilator. Shortly after that he went into septic shock and was 100% reliant upon the ventilator. Along with managing his diabetes, having a high fever, low blood pressure, and an additional infection, Jerry has continued to fight.
As he lies there fighting (alone since no one is allowed to visit him and be by his side), his wife Judy, son Justin and daughter-in-law Lizzy remain at home dealing with their own Covid symptoms. Jerry’s oldest son Jon and his wife Heather are doing everything they can to be of great moral support to them all. The whole situation is quite heartbreaking and the medical costs are quickly adding up with Jerry being in ICU now for 14 days. This is going to be a long road to recovery for Jerry and the whole Wilson family could really use your help.
My Facebook posts and phone have been flooded with well wishes and offers of help. As I said, everyone LOVES Jerry! I know the feeling myself...a desperate need to want to help them and not knowing what we can do. I thought this Go Fund Me account would be a great way to funnel all that love and help into a place where it could be the most useful for them.
Please do not feel any donation is too small. We all know these times have been a bit challenging on many households. Everything will go to help with medical expenses, rehabilitation and any potential assistance Jerry may need to get him home. Please spread the word to others that know him and share this on your own pages so we can get the word out.
Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. I will be posting updates on Jerry's progress on here as well as my Facebook page. I thank you for your generosity and giving hearts. Keep praying hard everyone!
