Help for John & Cynthia House

This has been set up by Erin Presbyterian Church to help the House Family with Seth's travel and medical expenses.

Recently, John and Cynthia's son, Seth, was in Egypt with some friends where he got a spinal injury and could not use his legs. He was sent to Cairo for surgery, where they discovered a tumor on Seth's spine. Doctors removed a couple of vertebrae and most of the tumor, but Seth needs to get back to the US as soon as possible to receive chemotherapy and begin physical therapy.

We have contracted with a medical flight company to get Seth home.  They will come to Cairo tomorrow to evaluate Seth’s condition and fly him out on Wednesday.  The flight is via a commercial airline that has medical bays for transport of patients who are seriously ill.  The bays are equipped with the medical supplies and equipment needed for the patient.  He will have 2 medical personnel during the trip.  They will arrive here in Cairo this Tuesday and will evaluate Seth for his needs during the trip.
