Help for K.: Shelter and Support Needed

This is K. (Childhood picture) K. is a 16-year-old non-binary person who ran away from home in May 2024 after being regularly subjected to mental and physical abuse, including beatings. K. uses they/them pronouns. Since then, K. has been sleeping in various places, sometimes even on the street. Now that the weather is getting colder, the situation is becoming even more difficult.

K. is currently waiting for a spot in a shared living facility, but the process is taking a long time. Due to past trauma, K. is unwilling to go to a crisis center, which further delays the referral to the shared living facility.

This is an unsafe time for K., and they are struggling to meet basic needs like food, water, and clothing. Additionally, K. cannot afford essential medications like antidepressants. We hope that through this GoFundMe campaign, we can raise enough support to provide K. with shelter, regular meals, warm clothing, and necessary medical care.
