Help for KadiAnn
Donation protected
When John and I got married, we thought we would not be able to have kids. As a teacher of 18 years, I knew I was blessed to spend a life loving other people's children, but I had truly hoped for one of my own. Amazingly, in November 2017, we became pregnant. This little miracle was to be born in August 2018. Yet, in April, I developed preeclampsia and hospitalized. Everyday, I battled highblood pressure and other issues to stay pregnant, but on May 2, 2018 KadiAnn was born.
KadiAnn was a intrauterine growth restricted baby (IUGR) meaning she had stopped growing in the womb. She was 1 lb and 4 oz when she was born. She has been in the NICU since her birth, and is proving to be very strong. She has gained a pound and is no longer on a ventilator. She is a feisty little girl who loves her pacifier and being held by her mama and daddy.
Our baby girl has been fighting to live since conception. She will be an amazing young lady.
Any money donated will go toward KadiAnn's and mom's medical bills, equipment we would like to have when she comes home to help keep her safe from apnea, gas money to help the family get to and from the hospital each day, and for preemie clothing and adapters for car seats, highchairs, etc. (no one prepares for a preemie when they find out they are pregnant.)
I can't tell you how grateful John and I will be for any help you can provide. KadiAnn is already loved and blessed by your thoughts. If you cannot donate financially, prayers are a great blessing as well and are most appreciated. Any donation - financial, sharing our gofundme, prayers - can change the life of my tiny child and we are so honored and humbled by your generosity.
