Help for Kara After Wildfire
Donation protected
I saw my sweet friend, Kara Van Veghel, on Thanksgiving. None of us fathomed a few days later she would lose everything in the forest fire that ripped through Gatlinburg. Kara lost her home, her memories, and all of her belongings. She has to start completely over. Kara is the most selfless person I know. She will do absolutely anything for a friend. She's truly an inspiration and role model to others when it comes to kindness. She did not deserve this. The wildfire in Gatlinburg engulfed half of the town including all of Kara's belongings and home. Kara escaped the fire just in time with her two fur babies, Ella the dog and Maddie the cat. We are so thankful she is safe, but she needs help right away. Kara works two jobs in Gatlinburg right now. She works for "Ole Smoky Distillery" in logistics and transportation and as an entertainer at "Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre" where she is loved by many. Please do what you can for my dear friend. Every little bit helps. She knows the Lord will watch over her and we thank God she is untouched, but her well being is shaken beyond repair. Please do what you can to help her in this difficult time.
