Help for Karen Roberts

In April of 2018 our mother (Karen) was diagnosed with both colon and endometrial cancer.  Shortly thereafter she was fortunate enough to have a medical procedure that allowed for the colon cancer to be removed entirely.  During that surgery, it was identified that her specific type of endometrial cancer was MMMT or Malignant Mixed Mesodermal Tumor.  While the primary tumor was removed during the surgery, a biopsy of the surrounding lymph nodes showed that the cells had spread beyond the initial development area.  This rare form of cancer is highly aggressive and requires intense treatment.  Currently, Karen has completed 3 of the 6 schedule chemotherapy sessions with 28 rounds of radiation treatment to follow.

As expected, Karen has been unable to work since having her surgery.  While she has been approved for disability she has yet to receive any funds to help with ongoing insurance costs, incoming medical bills or daily living expenses.  The last 5 months have exhausted her savings.  We are posting this today with the hope of generating donations to help Karen deal with her incoming medical bills.  Any help you can afford to this situation is greatly appreciated.
