Help for Ken and Jen McAllister and Family

In October 2023, our brother Ken McAllister received news that his kidney cancer had returned and spread to his bladder and lungs. He had surgery in May to remove his left kidney and his prognosis was excellent, so it was a shocking blow to learn that by the fall the cancer had returned and was spreading aggressively. Ken is now undergoing immunotherapy and chemotherapy, and while he is weakened and fatigued, he continues to work mostly from home in his position as webmaster for Regent College, a job he loves, and to push forward with optimism and grace.

Ken is a loving father of five, and amazing husband to Jennifer. He's the oldest of eight boys, and is loved immensely by his family, parents, brothers and sister-in-laws, dozens of nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and his work and church communities.

While Ken is able to work from home at this time, Jen has had to stop working to care for Ken and their kids and the financial burden has begun to take its toll.
