Help for Kenzie Souder & Family
Donation protected
On Sunday, March 28th, Kenzie Souder raced her first dirt bike race ever after several years of spectating and convincing her parents to let her do it. The details of the accident remain unsure, but we know there was a crash and that someone ran over her head. While she appeared OK at first, she quickly deteriorated and they ended up having to call in the LifeLine helicopter to transport her to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis where she remain in the ICU. She has not had anything to eat or drink since Sunday as they have to rule out any other serious injuries. Kenzie is becoming more alert, but her speech is very stuttered and slurred and her tone is not that of her normal speaking voice.
We all know there will be an incredible expense with the bill from the flight as well as her extended stay at Riley Children's Hospital. In addition, Kenzie has mentioned being upset because all of her brand new gear had to be cut off. She had a new chest protector and racing gear and will also need a new helmet. She will need the best in order to convince her mom and dad to let her ride again! :)
With permission from the family, we have put together this GoFundMe to provide some financial assistance to them. Let's pull together and help this family during their time of need. Any amount is greatly appreciated!
