Help for Kevin Murphy & family
We’re devastated to share that Kevin Murphy has been in a terrible car accident. He and his family need our support. His Jeep flipped multiple times and he was ejected from the vehicle. He was airlifted to a trauma hospital in Baton Rouge where he is currently unconscious and on a ventilator. Kevin has multiple facial and skull fractures that will require surgery, a subdural hematoma on his brain, broken ribs and pneumothorax right lung with chest tube. Anyone who knows Kevin knows what a warrior he is, also that his family means everything to him. He is an Army Veteran, loving partner to Shanna and dedicated father to their two sweet children. We are optimistic that Kevin will pull through and make a full recovery, but it will be a long road ahead. I am starting this GoFundMe to help Kevin, Shanna and the kids with their mounting medical bills and expenses. As many of you know, Kevin is not only my friend, but the inspiration behind my non-profit’s “Veterans Watch” program. He has volunteered with CAN-DO many times in the US and in Haiti on projects giving back to the community. I hope we can all join together and give back to him during this time he and his family really needs us.
