In Loving Memory of Kiesha Thompson

We are heartbroken to announce the tragic and untimely passing of Kiesha Thompson on Friday, July 19, 2024. Kiesha was a victim of a callous hit-and-run incident. After dropping off her infant daughter at daycare, she was walking home along the footpath of Allamanda Drive in Daisy Hill when she was intentionally struck by a Toyota Prado, which had allegedly been waiting idly for some time before the incident. Despite the immediate response and efforts of first responders and emergency health services, the injuries inflicted by the collision caused Kiesha to succumb to her injuries later that day. The family cannot express enough gratitude for the heroic efforts of all involved in caring for Kiesha following the collision.

Kiesha was a loving and dedicated mother, the sole caregiver to her precious child. She had created a warm and stable home for them, and her daughter had just started daycare so Kiesha could pursue her dream of becoming a painter through an apprenticeship program.

The family is devastated and struggling to come to terms with this senseless tragedy. As they grieve and focus on caring for Kiesha's daughter, they need our support more than ever.
