Killer Bees Attacked My Dad

My name is Heather, I'm fundraising for my dad, Carl. He was viciously attacked by killer bees for 3 hours at his house in rural Oklahoma on Friday. He was mowing his yard when the bees started to attack. This caused him to trip and fall, breaking his right hip and preventing him from escaping. He was home alone with no one there to help. The bees attacked all exposed skin. They stung him in his ears, up his nose, on his lips, and even in his eye!

A good samaritan found my father and called 911. My father was transported to a nearby hospital where he had hip surgery the following morning. The hospital has removed over 200 stingers and are still removing them three days later.

After all this, he is in good spirits but it will be a long road to recovery. He will require therapy to get back on his feet.

The bee hive will have to be removed before he can even go home.

Carl is 81 and lives with his wife of 59 years in Maysville, Oklahoma.
We are asking for donations to help with his medical bills, therapy and the removal of the bees from his home.
