Help for Kyle Robbins
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I was wondering and hoping that you would consider a donation for my brother in law. My brother in-law is Kyle Robbins, he’s 20yrs old and was just diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. His Colon cancer is a very rare type it is a genetic mutation called Lynch Syndrome. 2 yrs ago his mom Tabitha had the same thing hers was not as advanced as Kyle. At that time the genetic testing was done and there is positive mutation of the MLH1 gene. The 3 boys had a 50/50 chance of having the mutation gene and if positive an 80% chance of developing the cancer. Also, every ten years the chances of redeveloping the cancer doubles.
The reason for this go fund me is to help with the cost of medical bills not covered by insurance, help with household bills through treatment as Kyle will be unable to stay fully employed due to treatment every 2 weeks and also help with the cost of transportation for appointments.
Kyle grew up in Exeter where we went to school at Ridge View Community School and went to Bangor for JROTC program where he than went onto boot camp /AIT training in Missouri at Ft Leonard Wood and is a member of the 488th Military Police unit out of Waterville.
Kyle was working for Asplundh tree company where he was finishing his last two weeks as he was switching too work for dead River taking his CDL. Dead river is willing too hold his job for him until he is able too start. The last two days of working at Asplundh he ended up in the hospital where the doctors found malignant tumor completely blocking his bowel. Due to in the middle of jobs Kyle does not qualify for temporary disability, or Maine care to go back and cover prior months leading up his diagnosis.
