Help for Larry Peek's final expenses
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kristina. As you may know my dad Larry Peek passed away this January after a week long battle in the hospital due to Covid. Larry was just the most amazing person you could ever meet! He was so active and healthy, always fixing things and doing yard work! He would talk to anyone, share God's love, and help anyone in need! While Larry was completely ready to go to heaven, we weren't so ready to loose him! It has been a hard month since we lost him. While we hate to ask, between medical bills and funeral expenses, we could use a little help. Anything you could donate would help us!
Below is Larry's obituary and link to his funeral services.
Larry Wade Peek Obituary
March 3, 1945 – January 12, 2022
Larry Wade Peek, 76, passed away on January 12, 2022, following a short illness. Larry was born in Booneville, Mississippi to Edward B. and Martha M. Peek (nee Lawrence) who preceded him in death. Larry graduated from Isaac C. Elston High school in 1963. He joined the Naval Reserve and served 2 years overseas during the Viet Nam War. On May 14, 1994 he married Cheryl Cunningham who survives him. Also surviving are his children: Jennifer (Michael) Harper, Caleb Peek, Melinda Fortner, Nathan Peek, and Kristina (Matthew) Lamb; grandchildren: Jordan and Tristan Fortner, Chandler and Emma Harper; siblings: Kenneth (Sandra) Peek, Diane (Lewis) Bell, and Rosemary (Frank) Rivas. His brothers Randall and Terry Peek preceded him in death.
Larry had a deep love for the Lord and unmeasurable faith in God. He enjoyed being outdoors in his creator’s nature. A skilled landscaper and carpenter he liked working with his hands. He was very generous with everything he had, giving freely of his skills, money, and most of all, his time. to all those in need. He will be missed by all who knew him and remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. While we are saddened by his passing, we are joyful in knowing he is now in the presence of his Lord, reunited with those who went before him.
