Help with little Timmy’s vet bills
Donation protected
I am raising funds on behalf of Pippa’s Pawprints Spanish Dog Rescue to help cover the costs of our lovely foster, Timmy’s, recent vet bills.
Some words from one of the lovely ladies who runs Pippa’s Pawprints:
“We have just paid a hefty bill for our beautiful Timmy who had a bad adoption experience. Suffice to say that his adopter had made an appointment to have our beautiful Yorkie euthanised. Why? Because he was “ aggressive” to other dogs (it’s true that he didn’t like unneutered dogs but he loves other dogs and we have lots of videos to back this up), that he pulled on the lead and pulled her over - he is barely 8 kilos, is too busy sniffing to pull on the lead and that he was peeing in the house, had incontinence which “couldn’t be cured” and that it was cruel to keep him alive. Thankfully, her vet persuaded her to contact us to let us know what she had planned.
I was in shock, told her I would speak to my colleagues immediately and get back to her. Shaking, we had an immediate video call and after the shock, made arrangements with the wonderful Maskell family to collect and foster Timmy till we got to the bottom of the situation.
He arrived the following day and it was clear he had been neglected and was in obvious pain. After an appointment was made with vet, he was taken to the groomer and he once again looked like the boy we knew.
The vet diagnosed him with a bad case of cystitis, sore throat, infected annal glands and a fractured tooth! Our hearts were so heavy, how could this woman have neglected him like this? He must have been in such pain.
After vet medical attention including ultrasound, 4 teeth extractions, antibiotics (he is still having these) lots of love and care from his amazing foster family not to mention fun with his girlfriend, Chickpea, Timmy is almost back to the loving, healthy boy we knew.”
Any contribution, no matter how small, would be so gratefully received. We do of course understand that not everyone is able to contribute with money. Even if you could simply share the link with your family and friends, we would be so grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and here’s to Timmy - wishing him a very speedy recovery and we hope that he finds his forever home soon!
