Help for Luka’s Medical Needs

My name is Nicole Schwendinger and I’m fundraising for my little family member, Luka, the son to my cousin.

 

Over the last week or so, Luka started to lose his walking and was clearly uncomfortable. His parents, Katelyn and Toby, took him to hospital for lots of tests over the next couple of days. On Wednesday, they were told that Luka has what appears to be a tumor in his lower stomach. Luka was brought to Christchurch by LifeFlight. They have met with the Oncology team and while it is very, very early, it is expected to be cancer. The next few weeks will consist of many more tests and treatment planning about 7-8 hours away from home. 

 

Katelyn and Toby are able to already be connected with amazing staff at Ronald McDonald House, though there will be understandably many expenses moving forward for the family as a whole.

*NZ does not have go fund me. I will be transferring the funds fundraised directly to the family. If donating outside of Canada, the amount donated may show differently based on current currencies. Funds will be converted to NZ currency for the family.
