Friends and Family of Susan Rampi,
We are writing this request on behalf of our mother Susan Rampi or Mamma Sue/Pastor Sue.
As many of you know, the last year has been a rough one for Mom. She has undergone surgery two times in the last twelve months. Early last year Mom had back surgery and in the fall she had to have emergency surgery to remove her appendix. This led to the doctors noticing something unusual on her kidney. After countless opinions about the best course of action – the doctors have recommended that Mom have her kidney removed. The surgery is scheduled for late February. This will be a major surgery and will include 6-8 weeks of recovery time.
Dad, ever faithful, will continue to be at her side along with all of us kids and close family. However, we know that Mom and Dad’s beloved community extends far beyond blood relatives.
Many have asked how they can help – here is the list we have come up with:
1) Prayer is Mom’s number one request (not shocking to anyone who knows her :) She can literally feel the prayers and encouragement of people. So please keep praying! Our church at Isaiah 61 Ministries has started a prayer and/or fasting calendar for those who feel led. The idea is to have a least one person each day during the surgery/recovery period pray and/or fast for Mom. If you are interested please click here Pastor Lian Rampi (prayer email address) to email Pastor Lian Rampi your availability.
2) If you know anyone who has had major unexpected medical issues - you know the costs associated (even with insurance) can run out of pocket into the tens of thousands of dollars. Although our parents are very reluctant at this request – as children who outnumber them we are putting it in here. If you feel led to help financially any contribution is welcome. Financial support will go towards out of pocket medical costs, co-pays, prescriptions and help compensate for time Dad will be away from work (the surgery and recovery period are during his busiest time of year - tax season).
3) Meals during recovery - if you would like to make a meal for Mom and Dad during the recovery time – please click here for special instructions at Mom’s Meal Train Link: https://mealtrain.com/l79356

Over the years we have witnessed Mom and Dad walk with so many people on their journey of healing. Now we are asking for our community to do the same for them. Thank you for walking this journey with us. Together, we know that God is the ever faithful healer. Mom is one strong woman – and even stronger with the community around her.
With our heartfelt thanks – we love you all!
