Help for Mandy Morehouse

While celebrating our cousin’s wedding at Anna’s Ranch in Waimea this past Sunday, a huge branch of a eucalyptus tree fell

directly on top of my cousin Matthew and his wife, Mandy. Fortunately Matthew

sustained minor injuries, but Mandy wasn’t so fortunate. She was medevaced to Oahu and is currently undergoing a lengthy

surgery to help repair her broken hip. She

will also need to repair a broken ankle as

well. Overall Mandy is stable, talking and

thankful that her injuries were not more

extensive. However, it will be a long road to recovery and many expenses involved. Matthew will be taking leave from work to help care for Mandy and their three young children. The family is reluctant to ask, but if there is any way you can donate to help

offset the cost of the numerous medical/

rehabilitation bills, it would be greatly

appreciated and never forgotten.
