REST in PEACE, MARVIN
It is with deep sorrow that we inform the death of our dear friend Mark Vincent Christian Reyes last May 4, 2022 at 10:30am.
For those who would like to pay their last respects to Marvin, a funeral service and cremation service will be this Saturday in Singapore.
Details will be posted in the update section.
Please continue to say your prayers for Marvin, his wife Brenda and his son McDo.
Rest in peace with the Lord Jesus Christ, Marvin. No more pain now. You fought long and hard and you will always be an inspiration to us.
Sincerely,
Marvin's Friends from Mapua (UMT)

A CALL for FINANCIAL SUPPORT for MARVIN
Back in college some three decades ago, I saw Marvin pick up a bass guitar, grow his hair jet-black long, form a band, and rock the stage for a few, brilliant, brief moments. He was one of the coolest cats in campus, yet always humble, unselfish, and ready with a witty retort that nine times out of ten, will result in someone choking with laughter.
Now, Marvin has lost the hair, and no one knows what happened to his bass guitar, but the humility and the unselfishness remains, perhaps even more so now that he is a husband and a Dad, like many of us.
Some three decades ago the battle scars we wore were all about sleepless nights finishing reports, studying for exams, getting a 5.0, and Mac-Gyver-ing your way home when Intramuros became like an island floating on flood waters.
Now, Marvin's battles are of a different level, the kind of which requires the same kind of spirit from people who gravitated around him back in the day.
Marvin is battling lung cancer, and while he and his family has been coping heroically for the last three years, it seems God is calling on other heroes to fight the battle with him.
We -- his classmates, friends, brothers, and sisters -- are asking for your generous assistance to help with the mounting medical bills.
And just as God is calling us to gather around Marvin, may we also ask everyone to call on God to give us whatever powers He may grant us, in constant, humble prayers.
Thank you all.

NOTE:
Please note that due to the limitation of GoFundMe not being operational in Singapore, the organizers are re-directing the funds to Marvin's Wife, Brenda. via Global Bank Transfer. There is a few days of delay but rest assured that the funds are accounted for. Thank you once again for your support and prayers.
