Help Danitza with medical costs and equipment

Hello I’m holding this fundraiser for my cousin Danitza who by the Grace of God is still with us today. She is in very critical condition as she was sent away from an initial ER visit with with an ibuprofen even though she was experiencing high fever, vomiting and extreme weakness. She was told to come back 24 hours later by 4 pm the next day. She couldn’t wait and 12 hours later drove herself 30 minutes to another hospital. Due to that initial medical negligence she was admitted to this hospital in septic condition and was hours away from losing her life. She’s is currently in ICU and has been diagnosed with a flesh eating bacteria and has needed several surgeries to try and clean out the bacteria. She only has emergency insurance which has a limit and is close to reaching that limit. She risks being discharged within the next week or so. She will be needing to go home with a specific machine not covered through her insurance and is extremely costly. In addition she will need medication plus medical staff to tend to her wound plus the equipment.

She’s a mom of three, cannot work right now and needs help with all these medical expenses and living expenses until her system is stabilized and cleaned with this machine. We know times are tough but ask if you can please help in any way you can and thank you. May God bless you.

Esta es mi prima Danitza. Ella llegó a un hospital de emergencia en críticas condiciones con fiebre y vómito y muy débil. La doctora que la atendió le dijo que estaba bien y se fuera para la casa y sólo le dio una pastilla para la fiebre. Danitza siguió bien mal durante las siguientes 12 horas hasta que al fin decidió conducir a otro hospital a 30 millas de distancia. Ahí la admitieron inmediatamente y le dijeron que estaba a horas de perder la vida. Debido a la negligencia de el otro hospital la admitieron en estado crítico. La han diagnosticado con una bacteria que ataca la piel y ha teñido que sufrir varias sirugias. Danitza sólo tiene aseguranza de emergencia y tiene un límite que está a punto de llegar. Al cumplir el límite la despacharán tal vez en una semana. Ella necesitará ir la casa con herida abierta, una máquina para limpiar el sistema, además necesitará personal médico que le atendían la herida y la máquina. Todo esto será muy costoso y esto sin mencionar el medicamento que necesitará también. Les pedimos que nos reunamos a acudir fondos para ayudarla salír adelante.
