Help for Michelle and Steve Boyd

Hi, I am creating this page for my best friend and her sweet husband. They have been through a lot in the past couple years. Her husband was hospitalized for over a month in Aug of 2020 and had to have his leg amputated below the knee and has been in the hospital on 2 other occasions since Oct 2021. He was recently hospitalized on Dec 17th and was moved to MICU on Dec 25th and to IMCU about 3 weeks ago. During this stay he has had Covid pneumonia, emergency surgery to remove 40% of his colon & gallbladder, surgery to remove several blood clots which as a result caused his leg to be amputated above the knee due to the blot clots causing loss of blood oxygen to his skin resulting in the tissue dying. He’s had to have dialysis, several CT Scans, a few MRI’s, 7 pints of blood, 2 colostomy bags and 2 JP Bulbs. Once he is stable they will move him to a Long Term Medical Facility to receive care until he is stronger and well enough to be moved to a Rehab Facility to learn how to maneuver with the loss of his leg. His journey has been very long and has been very rough on this family. Michelle is currently working and is only able to see him once a day during the week and twice on the weekend due to the Hospital Covid Rules. Financially Michelle has been trying to make it on her own since Dec 1st. I know how hard Michelle and Steve work and it would be very difficult for them to ask for help. So Im asking for your support to help Michelle and Steve get through this difficult time. Anything you can give would be deeply appreciated.
