Help For Miss Mayra

My name is Vanessa Sell and my sons have gone to LifeSpan in East Greenville for the past 7 years, my oldest is now in the after school program, and my youngest is in Pre School Prep. 

On Saturday, January 20th our wonderful Family Coordinator, Mayra Cruz had to have emergency surgery due to an infection that became a life-threatening situation.  Due to the severity of the surgery and the stay at the hospital, myself and Laura Smith an alumni mom are starting a GoFundMe to help offset some of the current medical bills and future medical expenses.

Mayra has been warmly welcoming families at LifeSpan for 15 years.  She greets everyone with a warm smile and a big hug.  Even if you don’t know her, she will be offering you some life advice along with one of those big hugs.  She is always the first person who is willing to help others, and will put other people’s needs over her own.

At this time we are asking for monetary donations.  No amount is too small to help make this difficult time a little easier for her and her family. Let’s come together to help this “one of a kind” special family coordinator and take a little stress off of her during her recovery.
