Help for Mom of 7 with totaled car

Hi, my name is Carol Ottaviano and I’m fundraising for Heather, the mother of 7, whose car was totaled on her way to the grocery store. Her car was totaled two weeks ago as a speeding car veered into her lane, flipping it over at least once. She is very grateful that she miraculously didn’t suffer any broken bones, but she has a long recovery ahead. She has weeks of physical therapy ahead, and isn’t able to work until cleared by physician.

Thankfully, there were no children in the vehicle .The negligent driver had no insurance. Heather’s insurance will cover a small portion of her loss but many things it will not. She’s a DoorDash driver so she will be missing that income during the holidays while she’s recovering. Her deductible needs to be covered on her insurance. Her daily car rental is limited to $30 so she will have to pay extra for a larger vehicle each day she is without a car. She has car payments for a vehicle that isn’t useable So many ripple effects of someone’s poor decisions, yet she is the one who suffers.

Heather has a huge heart and a deep faith! Three of her “children” are not biological. She is raising three young children of her former neighbor who couldn’t care for them. She is in the process of adopting them legally; another big expense that has now been put on hold.

I met Heather at our church’s diaper drive last year. She is totally trusting God will provide in this current challenge. She hasn’t asked me to do anything but pray for her and her family during this challenge. I’m trusting also in His Provision by developing this GoFundMe.
