Help for Momma bear injured defending family

Hi, I’d like to introduce you to Adriana, a mother of 2 teenage girls, a lifetime resident of Astoria, NY and small business owner in Astoria.

On 1/23/2024 Adriana’s oldest daughter, after returning home to their apartment from walking her dogs, was the victim of an assault and attempted kidnapping in the hallway of the apartment building they reside in. The assailant approached the young girl from behind and attempted to forcibly take her down the stairs. It was the yelling and cries for help that alerted Adriana to what was happening and, as the fearless mother she is, did not hesitate to fight back and defend her daughter from the would-be kidnapper.

Adriana was able to fight off her daughter’s attacker, but sustained injuries. Adriana suffered a fractured orbital bone, a fractured elbow and a broken shoulder. These are bandages she wears with pride for defending her cub.
