Help for Mosel as he recovers from Guillain Barre
Donation protected
Hello friends, family and community members,
Last week our dear friend Mosel encountered some unexpected health issues. His initial diagnosis seemed fairly manageable, but things quickly changed when he began to experience other unrelated symptoms. After multiple hospital visits and countless tests, he finally got some answers and has been diagnosed with what they believe to be Guillain-Barré syndrome. GBS is very rare neurological disorder in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks part of its peripheral nervous system—the network of nerves located outside of the brain and spinal cord. Fortunately, most people eventually recover but it could be a long road. Mosel is a father to 4 amazing girls and a loving husband to his wonderful wife Lori. Although he is currently still hospitalized, upon his release, he will need continued treatment and ongoing physical therapy. Lori will need to be his primary care giver, while also running their busy household and caring for their sweet girls. They will both be unable to work for an undetermined amount of time and they are going to need all the support they can get to help them through this difficult time.
The funds raised will help with every day expenses for his family, hospital bills, and anything else that is needed for his road to recovery. We do not know how long his recovery will take, but our plan is to help cover a few months of expenses to take the weight off his family even for a short while.
We understand it’s been a crazy COVID year for everyone and unfortunately people are fighting their own personal and financial battles but if you have the ability to donate, your kindness and generosity will be great appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your love and support.
