Help for my father, family and friends in Ukraine

Dear friends,

I am grateful for all of your kind thoughts and support during these trying times in Ukraine. As you know, I am from Ukraine and moved to the US two years ago to be with my husband Richard Matthews, but my family is currently in a war zone in Kyiv.

During these events in Kyiv, my 80-year-old father fell and broke his femur, his arm, and suffered a concussion. He has had two surgeries, his right arm is paralyzed due to a severe injury to the radial nerve and he is now bedridden. My cousin and her family are unable to assist him because they were forced to flee their home in a Kyiv suburb that was being shelled heavily.

Many of you have asked as to how you may help. My sister and I are currently attempting to provide health and personal care for our father and intend to evacuate him from the war zone. We have created this crowd-funding campaign to assist my father, as well as our family and friends in Ukraine, and we would appreciate any assistance.
