Help For My Nephew and Family

Hello last week my nephew Jonathan lost feeling in both legs and feet. He was brought from his hospital in Indiana to Comer Children’s Hospital in Chicago. He was admitted and for the last week has been sedated and intubated while they ran every test on him they could think of. After ruling out just about everything they have singled out transverse myelitis. It is an inflammation of his spine cause by a virus. They are treating it aggressively and we are hoping for the best. But this could take months to resolve with treatment and physical therapy. He could also be left with a disability or a permanent injury. It’s just so unknown right now. 

My sister-in-law is taking a leave of absence from work, my brother will be traveling back and forth from Indiana. Besides this the hospital bills could be significant. They have two other kids to care for. If you would like to help ease their financial burden we would be grateful. Every small donation helps.
