Help for myself & my son in Tenerife

Hi all,

As most of you know myself & my son have had bad news while holidaying in Tenerife with my son being in hospital yesterday & the doctor, the ambulance took their payment in cash from me which left us with no money.

Then when we returned back to our hotel after my son was discharged we get a phone call from the covid tests to say my son has tested positive.

We are now stuck in Tenerife in separate rooms in our hotel, the hotel management have been brilliant & contacting the Spanish government. They will still let us have food which is great as we haven't eaten for 24 hours.

Yes i am insured but the insurance doesn't pay for anything like hotel, flights etc upfront it is only when i return to the UK that i can claim back for the hotel etc.

Here everything is asked fot upfront like the doctor, ambulance, hospital yesterday.

I have no credit cards as i don't have them at all.

Alot of my twitter family suggested setting up this page, I am very embarrassed to do this as i feel awful. As everyone knows i have no one else except my son since my Mum passed away so this is the most difficult thing to happen when i have no one to ask for help.

I hope this makes sense as i am still very emotional and haven't slept for over 24 hours now.

Any amount event £1 would be great help, myself and my son will never be able to thankyou as there is just not enough thankyou's in the world.

UPDATE: since writing this my insurance has let me know that only Ronan is fully covered as he was the positive case, whereas i am not covered as my test was negative, so now i am stressed about getting home when we are allowed to leave Tenerife
