Help For Nancy, A Stroke Victim

On December 17th, 2023, our sister, aunt and beloved friend Nancy Barnick suffered an Ischemic Stroke. An Ischemic Stroke occurs when a clot obstructs the blood flow to a part of the brain. This left Nancy with slurred speech, difficulty swallowing and weakness in her left side. Four weeks later she suffered a second stroke, erasing any progress she had made and starting over.

Nancy has since been living in a transitional care facility. She is getting hours of physical, occupational and speech therapy daily and making great progress! Unfortunately, she has been unable to work since December and it is unknown when she will return home or back to work.

She needs our help! Funds donated will go towards easing medical costs and purchasing a recumbent bicycle to utilize as therapy once she is home.
