Help for Newborn Jack Thomas
We Need Your Prayers and Support.
Meet Jack Thomas Sottile. Jack was born at 10:15 on July 6, 2018 weighing 7 lbs 1 ounce. Jack is a fighter, just like his Daddy Thomas and his Mommy Kristine who is a cancer survivor.
As a cancer survivor, Kristine and Tom enlisted the help of Joyce, a gestational surrogate, to deliver their son Jack. Joyce began having complications during delivery. Jack's placenta became damaged and as a result, Jack lost a lot of blood.
After he arrived via emergency C-Section, Jack needed a blood transfusion, is on a breathing tube, and in the NICU. They are cooling his body which helps the organs not have to work so hard, and allows them to heal more easily. He is also receiving IV Antibiotics.
He appears responsive, but we have to wait and see if there is any brain damage from the loss of blood.
Please put Jack, Kristine, Tom, and Joyce on your prayer lists. Please especially pray that there is no brain damage from blood loss, and that Jack leaves the hospital as a healthy baby.
Loving and Encouraging words are welcomed.
Please also consider helping to offset the cost of medical bills, unexpected hotel/room rental, and anything else that Jack and his family need to keep everyone healthy.
Thank you friends. We will be posting updates as they become available.
