Help for Orphans in Zimbabwe

Batsirai Widows & Orphans, Inc. (BWO) is a registered non-profit corporation in the state of Florida. Batsirai means help in Shona, one of the native languages in Zimbabwe. The organization was formed to raise awareness and funding for orphans in Zimbabwe who are destitute and need assistance with their educational funding.
 
Through raising awareness, partnership and fundraising, BWO has made an impact in the lives of many orphans in Zimbabwe. We believe that your support and partnership will help educate and impact more orphans by providing them safe learning and living environments to thrive with hope for a better future.

OUR MISSION IS TO:

1.  Provide scholarships to support quality education for orphans and vulnerable children.

2.  Provide schools with the resources and training to enable them to offer quality education.

3.  Provide widows with resources and education to enable them to create income opportunities.

4.  Improve student's access to quality food, water, health services and sanitation.

5.  Reduce the number of children living outside a family environment.

6.  To promote the physical and emotional well-being of orphans and vulnerable children.
