Help for our union brother Dave Penton
Donation protected
A very good friend of ours, Dave Penton, is in dire need of our help right now. You see, Dave is a diabetic who, for the past few years, has gone into kidney failure. For a while now, Dave has been going to work and coming home every day to receive his dialysis treatment. Because of his daily dialysis, Dave had a fistula installed in his arm, which is a port for easier access to both the artery and vein when doing dialysis. A few weeks ago, while driving home after teaching a class for apprentices, Dave’s blood sugar dropped quickly and dangerously low. The result of low blood sugar caused him to blackout and he totaled his van. Then He was rushed to the hospital because his fistula had ruptured, and a blood clot went into his lung, causing severe respiratory distress. Dave was in ICU for nearly three weeks before being released from the hospital with an oxygen tank and walker. Shortly after returning home, they tragically found Shawn; his stepson had died at the house. Here’s a man who is just out of the hospital, unable to return to work, and has had no income for over a month. Add to that the death of a child. No family should have to endure this much pain and suffering on their own. Please donate to help this family and let them know that they are loved, not alone, and that we care. God Bless.
