Donation protected
Murtaza is a young Pakistani high porter who need treatment in Spain. His fingers were burnt due to frostbite last July when he was climbing Broad Peak (8047m) in the Karakoram Mountain range.
Murtaza has been working as a high porter to carry the equipment of mountaineers to the highest points of the mountains for many years.
During the second week of July this year, he was with an expedition team to climb the 11th highest peak in the world, Broad Peak, when he got stuck at an altitude of 8,000 meters. An Austrian climber, Mr. Lucas Woerle, found him in a very bad condition and he brought Murtaza back to Camp 3. Lucas Woerle was able to bring Murtaza to the base camp with the help of other mountaineers. He was transferred by helicopter to the city of Skardu.
Murtaza left Islamabad for treatment few days ago. World famous Spanish mountaineer Alex Txikon has arranged best doctor and best hospital for Murtaza treatment in Spain.
Murtaza belongs to a very poor family of Sadpara village and has two children along with old parents to take care. Your generous donation will help cover the expenses for Murtaza's travel and treatment in Spain and will help him taking care for his family during his recovery period.
All donations will be deposited directly into Murtaza's personal bank account that he was able to open in Spain.
