Help for Rachel and Bill Gouck
Anyone who has the pleasure of knowing Rachel and/or Bill know without a doubt that they both go out of their way to help those they love. Now they need our help, it was recently discovered that Rachel has Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). This diagnosis took everyone by surprise. As you know Rachel and Bill have 4 wonderful daughters ages 1-13 and Bill has been the sole provider for them. Rachel planned to return to work after having their youngest daughter but due to COVID and school schedules she wasn’t able to then the older kids finally started physically going to school a couple days a week and they received this devastating news.
Rachel and Bill plan to fight this with everything they have with the hopes of giving her the best chance at beating it. They’ve met with the doctors and started scheduling testing and treatment and while most of the medical expenses will be covered by insurance other things won’t be. It’s going to be important for Rachel to have a strong support system to get thru this and quite frankly although we will all volunteer to go with her for testing and treatment the one person she is going to want/need by her side most is her soulmate/husband. In order for that to happen he’ll have to take time off of work. To make that a feasible thing I am asking for any help you can give to offset the time/money he’ll be missing from work. The money will be used for rent, utilities, gas, parking fees and whatever else the family may need.
