Help For Ranger Casey Kraft

SGT Casey L Kraft served with 2/75 (C co) between 1981 to 1986, which included a combat deployment to Grenada. Casey received an ARCOM with “V” device during armed combat on the island of Grenada.

Two individuals, one of whom was a friend of Casey took advantage of him and took approximately 260k out of his checking account. They were conducting repairs on his home, which were estimated to cost around 20k and managed to convince him to provide direct access to his funds. On top of that, these individuals along with a service officer and lawyer drew up the paperwork and had Casey committed to a hospital. Stated he has dementia and couldn’t care for himself. The lawyer and social officer have been reported to the attorney general and the process has begun to take all concerns to court and recoup Casey’s money.

In the meantime, fellow Ranger Andrew Buniack and Casey's sister (Carrie) have been helping Casey get back on his feet and prepared to legally defend himself.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will be provided to Casey's sister to help her in assisting Casey with legal fees and personal expenses while he fights to get back his life savings.
