Help for Ray and his family.

This is Ray, one of our students from Trojan Free Fighters Bristol, he's been training with us since he was 14/15. Recently Ray departed on his first trip abroad to go train in Thailand.

Unfortunately whilst he was there he contracted a nasty staph infection, initially he was given antibiotics and sent on his way. Whilst flying home he became very ill and was rushed to hospital in Malaysia during his lay over flight back to the UK.

Ray has a serious blood infection that has caused severe damage to his heart, liver and lungs. As a result he's had to be induced into a coma and his parents have had to fly out to Malaysia immediately to be with him whilst he undergoes life saving medical treatment.

We don't know how long he'll be there going through treatment and this is a horrendous time for his family. I'd like to help anyway we can by supporting them with this fundraiser for medical, travel, accommodation costs - whatever they need during this extremely tough time.

Ray is one of the nicest kids I've had the pleasure of teaching in the gym and absolute credit to his family - hopefully by setting up a fundraiser we can ease some of the troubles his family we'll be going through right now. I've known the martial arts and bjj community to be one of the best communities I've ever been a part of, so please help anyway you can by donating or sharing in your circles. Help us look after Ray and his family in their time of need.
