Help for Rebeca and the kids
Donation protected
We are heart broken to announce that the good Lord has called Juan Carlos Baires home on 12/23/2020. He struggled with Covid 19 for several weeks in the hospital until he passed in peace. His wife, Rebeca, and three kids, Adrianna (10yr), Elijah (5yr), and Matthias (2yr), along with his whole family are mourning their loss. We ask for your prayers first and any support is much appreciated.
For those of you who don’t know Juan Carlos and Rebeca they are some of the most amazing people you will ever meet. They are first to jump to help others and wear their hearts on their sleeves. Juan Carlos was the most devoted and sacrificial father. To providing financial, to changing diapers, to even selling his guitars to provide for a need for his kids. He was a loving and devoted husband who always put his family first.
Juan Carlos and Rebeca had been through so much together from moving to Washington state for 3 years on their own while Juan Carlos was serving in the US army to maneuvering through the time of the Corona Virus. Juan Carlos worked diligently as a Web Developer and Rebeca became a full-time mom and homeschool mom when Covid hit. Each obstacle made their love stronger and more grounded in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rebeca is not only faced with the loss of her husband but also many bills and financial decisions to make. As you can imagine at this point Rebeca, her family, and both extended families are still just beginning to process the loss of Juan Carlos. We are still coordinating funeral and burial specifics but will post as more details are available. As the specifics are worked through, any help is appreciated to cover the following expenses.
Some of these include:
- Funeral Expenses
- Living Expenses
- Figuring out an Income Source for the Family
There are three ways specifically we can help Rebeca and the Kids.
1. Pray - pray first for comfort that can only come from God and second for wisdom both for Rebeca and the family as they work through next steps.
2. Donate! We cant even imagine the emotional burden of loosing a spouse let alone the financial pressure that goes along with it. Galatians 6:2 calls us to Bear one another’s burdens. This is one way we can do this.
3. Share this with as many people as you can. Not only share it on social media tell your friends about it and encourage them to give! Every little bit counts!
Venmo ( @Rebeca-E-Martinez) and Zelle accounts are also available.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity! It is so greatly appreciated this Christmas season.
Sincerely from the Martinez and Baires Family.
