Help for Romie Duarte's Mom Funeral Arrangements
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
I am writing to you today to let you know about the passing of Teresa Duarte, Romie's mom. Those who know Romie well know that Teresa was not just her mother but her best friend, travel companion and baseball buddy. While many of you know that Teresa had been sick for the past couple of weeks, Romie and her family were caught off guard by her passing. As an only child, Romie is grieving and, at the same, diligently working to make arrangements for her mom to be laid to rest.
Teresa was an inspiring woman who loved to cook and read, especially Reader's Digest. She had a wicked sense of humor and loved to be wherever Romie was present.
Teresa was the third of five children and the only daughter of Juan and Luz. She grew up in San Diego, and her first job was working at Jessop's in downtown San Diego learning about Mikimoto pearls and how to wrap gifts with only two pieces of tape. She moved to Glendale, CA, after graduating high school and landed her first job in downtown Los Angeles. At this job on the elevator, she met Romie's dad.
Please consider donating to Teresa's funeral expenses and help to cover the costly funeral expenses and alleviate the stress Romie is undergoing. Let's demonstrate to Romie that friends and family will surround her in this time of need. We thank you in advance for your contributions!
