Help for Rowdy Ray Robinson

We recently had a follow-up visit with
Rowdy’s Neurologist and met with the
OHSU Bridges Palliative Care Team. The
specialist’s we met with are truly amazing
and deeply caring.

We learned that Rowdy’s brain is 
progressively atrophying at an alarming
rate as a result of his gene mutation. While there’s a medical understanding and
knowledge for the cause, sadly there’s
currently no available treatments. Because Rowdy’s case is more severe than other documented cases, there’s no way for his
Neurologist to ascertain how much time
we’ll have with him.

For those of us that know and love Rowdy
(because if you know him, you can’t not
love him) this path is going to be
unbearable. Particularly for Jessica and
Jesse.

Please provide them with any kind of
support you’re able to. That support can
range from: dropping a quick message to
let them know you’re thinking of them, or
completing a task for them that may not
seem like a big deal to you (but it would be
for them), or a shoulder to cry on, or money to help with gas to all of his medical
appointments and supplies.
