Help for Royal Claydon

The Claydon family needs our help.
On Tuesday 01/21/20, my 11 year old nephew, Royal, suffered what appeared to be a seizure for reasons unknown at the time. He was initially brought to Urgent Care. From there he was rushed by ambulance to Dominican Hospital and later taken again by ambulance to Stanford's Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
On Wednesday, they received a diagnosis of benign tumors growing on the nerves of Royal's brain (neurofibromatosis). These tumors, combined with a rise in his internal body temp, caused him to have three seizures. On Thursday evening, Royal was finally discharged from the hospital.
Though Royal has resumed his normal 11 year old activities (school, baseball, etc), the Claydons are moving forward with a long journey ahead with different possible treatments and medication. Appointments have already been made with several specialists. We have faith that whatever plan Royal's medical team decides will be what is best for him.
Whenever something like this happens, the initial fear from the diagnosis is followed by the stress of trying to figure out how to pay for all the coming medical expenses. Ambulance rides, tests, MRIs, and several days in the hospital quickly adds up. The Claydons received word that Stanford discontinued accepting their medical insurance as of last year. I created this GoFundMe with their blessing as a way to help offset some of the insurmountable medical costs they'll be faced with. Together we can help and support this amazing family through this difficult time.
Please keep them in earnest prayer and pray that Royal does not have another seizure in the meantime. They are grateful for your prayers and for all the support.
All donations go directly to Royal’s parents Timothy and Briana Claydon.
