Support Sandy Smith Fight Against Kidney Failure

Hello, My name is Keysha, I’m fundraising for my mother Sandy Smith. My mother suffered a huge turn around at life on January 11th 2024. My mother went into the emergency room with what we thought was just a common cold.

We knew it was a little more when she couldn’t walk on her own, couldn’t sit up for a long period of time or even think straight. When she arrived at the ER hours later they found out she was actually suffering from kidney failure. Which was why she was feeling the way she was feeling plus more.

My mother kidneys were only functioning at 10% on their own. She was hospitalized in ICU for over 3 weeks. She’s fighting so hard to get her kidneys levels back right but it will take sometime to fully recover. She’s now on outpatient dialysis 3 days a week until she is fully healed.

My mother is a strong loving woman who has helped a lot of individuals in need. Such as victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and sexual assault. Or providing food, water, clothing and essentials both in the United States, Africa and globally. My mother is a missionary she is accustomed to traveling the nations helping people, spreading the gospel and enjoying a purposeful life while doing so.

This tragic incident caused her to lose her job and so much more. I’m writing this because I’ve watched the woman I look up to life change in so many ways. I pray that there’s anybody with the kind heart to bless her in anyway possible, to help cover her monthly bills and medical expenses, while she’s on her journey to healing.
