Help for Sheila and Oliver
Donation protected
Two and half years ago, Sheila and Jason's lives changed big time...twice. First, Sheila learned she was pregnant--they were thrilled (only married a few years and knew they wanted a family)! A month later, Jason was diagnosed with Stage Four cancer.
They would couple their appointments - so go from Sheila's OB appoitnment to Jason's oncology appointment. The day they found out they were having a baby boy, they also found out Jason's cancer was a type that few survive (bile-duct cancer, similar to pancreatic). With Jason's short life expectancy, Sheila focused all her time and energy on her husband and baby, doing everything she could to help Jason get through endless treatments and procedures with dignity.
On April 3, Jason, at 39 years old, passed away -- in their home, holding Sheila's hand. And despite their deep sadness, life brings a new chapter for Sheila and her son Oliver.
Sheila and little Oliver need help getting back on track. In addition to normal living expenses, they need to pay for child care to allow Sheila, who focused solely on Jason and Oliver the last two years, to start a career that will enable her to support herself and her son.
Any assistance is welcomed with much gratitude and appreciation.
